Gulf Master Cast

I love the Emmrod Gulf Master on my Kayak. The size is perfect and more than that, the performance is absolutely amazing. I've reeled in a few monsters and the rod action is just superb, I can't believe how this little rod does what my top of the line standard rods can do, and does it so well. I am sold on this and will certainly be back for more. I recommend the Emmrod GF to anyone that is fishing on a kayak,, canoe, or any constricted space... it is simply perfect!

Have finally received my Gulf Master Cast. Although I have not yet used it, I am very impressed with the quality and finish of the product. I have now matched it with a Penn Fathom 25N reel, and the rig looks magnificent. Now just to find and opportunity to try the, out ... can't wait :-)

I put a Penn Fathom 25 on this and went on the Black Hawk party boat from Niantic Ct to the “Race “ in Fishers island sound. I caught 4 short Stripers and 5 Bluefish that went 15 to 18 # . Love it . I ordered a 4 coil tip for it and the USPS messed up , Emmrod answered my call right away and made good on the mistake . So happy to do business with Emmrod .

I work in the Gulf of Mexico in the oilfield industry and wanted a small but strong rod. This rod exceeded my expectations. Disassembled, this rod fits in my backpack and it can handle large fish. I have caught over 15lb red snapper, 3 foot long king mackerel and I even reeled in a 5 foot long shark!

After purchasing this Emmrod for kayaking, I started leaving it in my truck cab for when I had a 30 min break! Lol! The best use is on the Harley, then you can ride and carry your favorite knife also. I also purchased the Packer® And also the case made for it. Cant beat it!!!! Great tool for survival, even if you just keep for emergencys
