Excellent compact rod, perfect for the backpack and the traveling fisherman.

Highly recommended! I’ve had this for a few years now, and absolutely love it!! If I am out kayaking, camping, hiking or out 4 wheeling it’s always with me.. it’s so versatile. I can put it in or strap it to the side of my backpack. Or even just toss it in the vehicle just in case I have a few extra minutes or find somewhere I have to try out. When I’m on my kayak, I can get into those little areas with ease with this setup. And best of all, I dont have to worry about it getting easily broken like all the fiberglass poles when it’s in my vehicle. Having something that’s not 6 foot long is so nice for when you’re shore fishing near the trees or in a tight area trying to get to that little honey hole.. and when I talk to Tim the owner, he was super nice, helpful and quick to respond. (you just can’t find that with the big companies) and I love that it’s American made ??

I heard good reviews about it and I tried it out for a while today, and it's better than I'd expected.

From the moment I discovered these rods I knew I wanted one. This thing is built like a tank. I have always favored the shorter rods cause it allows me to get into tighter spaces. I also ride a Can Am Spyder and this little rod fits right in my trunk. The coils are amazing and make up for the length. I have no doubts it will last the rest of my life and I will probably pass it on. I intend on buying one of the larger models. Don't let the small size fool you. The science is in the coils. Like I said, it's built like a tank. I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend Emmrod!!!!

Took on a fly-in Hunt to Alaska this year. Worked perfect never had to worry about breaking the rod while packing or bouncing around in jet boat. Was a blast to catch pike and Grayling. Look forward to more action with my new Rod!!!!

Bought one a year ago for myself. Best compact fishing rod I’ve ever used. Got the six coil for small stream fishing. The latest one I bought for my girlfriend and I’ll say that it took some serious abuse with her “casting”. No regrets on these purchases.
