    I like it!!

Posted by Unknown on 15th May 2014

I have lent this pole to several people so I could get their feedback. Of the 4 people that used it, 2 like it and 2 do not like it. 1 person said it wasn't comfortable in their hand, felt it wasn't easy to use. I had to use it quite a bit but I have learned some and I do like it to get in under trees etc.

Awesome small creek and river pole

Posted by Unknown on 11th Apr 2014

I was sceptical when I recieved it but it's worth every penny. Takes some practice to learn how to cast it but everything takes practice! Recommend to any one who wants a pole that will last a lifetime, easly packable, and just as effective as any 6'6 spinner rod in smaller tributaries. Thanks for a great product and look forward to buying a spinner model!

    Seems like a solid product

Posted by Gary Kimball on 29th Mar 2014

I got three Emmrods in the mail yesterday. Generally, my first impression is about 4 stars. I like the idea, it is very intriguing to me, but I've yet to test them on the water. The Packer seems like a good rig. I would knock, slightly, the ring that holds the reel in place. I thought that was a tad less than quality, but overall, I'd say the product is good quality. I can't wait to get out and try them. Kudos to the company for thinking outside the box. I love innovation.

    Small but usable

Posted by Shaun on 13th Feb 2014

I have been using this rod on and off for the past few weeks. Well constructed, packs small so it fits in a small bag. I can't cast it very far yet but other than that, I feel it is a great little rod.

The best travel rod for remote travelers in Australia

Posted by Andrew Rushton on 27th Jan 2014

sturdy little fella and so easy to pack. its ideal for people like me who travel to remote parts of Australa and baggage has to be kept at a minimum. Can catch all you need with I'm impressed. There ia a market here in Australia for fly in fly out miners in remote parts of the outback that I would be happy to sell to for you if interested? let me know

Packer Cast Pole with double tip

Posted by Kurt Grinstead on 7th Jan 2014

I am only giving this product 3 stars because I have not been able to use the product yet. My only concern was I did not know with the double tip I need to use a level wind reel. I was planing on using a baitcaster reel. Emmrod says: You can absolutely use a bait-caster with the two tip and also a closed face casting reel.....so you are good on all three!!!

    Works great.

Casts, surprisingly, as far as my carbon fiber rod. It takes some getting used to but worked great on the lake and on a high mountain river casting for brook.

    The Little Rod that Could

Posted by YakkinBob on 26th Sep 2013

Initially ordered this rod for my wife. She insisted on a "Barbie" style fishing rod similar the kids junk you see at Wal Mart.Hence I ordeded it in Pink.Only problem is she can't cast a baitcaster,so I've been using it(when my buddies aren't looking)I was impressed how sturdy this thing is.Takes some getting used to,but I'm sold.I'll be ordering a kayak caster for my wife, maybe one for myself also.love it.If you haven't tried one,do so now!
