I purchased as a novelty, however it is fun to catch catfish on it. I am a channel catfish guide and it amazes my customers. Great for keeping in the truck, because you never know when you are going to come across a place to fish.

Super compact rod. This rod is extremely well built and the locking design for attaching the pole to the handle works well and is very sturdy for a long life of use. High quality material is used to build this product. The rod cast well with my ultralight spinning reel. I had a question about the product and shipping time, I left a voicemail and Tim called me right back. He answered all my questions and they we talked fishing. Super personable guy and well versed on his products. The shipping package was thought out and protected my investment. He even included a couple Emmrod stickers with my purchase.
